Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all orders placed with Nic Of Time Printing. By placing an order you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. Quotes and pricing

All quotes are valid for 7 days from the date of issue. Prices are subject to change after this period. A quote is not a confirmed order until a deposit or full payment has been received.

  • Quotes are based on the information provided at the time of enquiry
  • Changes to artwork, quantity or product type after a quote is issued may affect the price
  • VAT and delivery charges, where applicable, will be stated separately on the quote

2. Payment terms

Production does not begin until payment has been confirmed. The following payment terms apply:

  • A deposit (typically 50%) is required to confirm and start your order
  • The balance is due before collection or delivery of finished goods
  • Full payment upfront may be required for new clients or small orders
  • Payment methods: EFT — banking details will be provided on your invoice

3. Artwork and design

You are responsible for supplying print-ready artwork or providing sufficient direction for us to proceed. The following applies to all artwork:

  • Preferred formats: PDF, PNG, or vector file (AI, EPS, SVG)
  • Artwork must be supplied at high resolution (minimum 300 dpi at print size)
  • If design work is required from us, it will be quoted and charged separately
  • You confirm that you own or have the right to use all logos, images and content supplied
  • Nic Of Time Printing accepts no liability for copyright infringement arising from client-supplied artwork
  • A digital proof will be provided for approval before production begins — no changes can be made after approval

4. Turnaround time

Turnaround times are estimates only and begin from the date artwork is approved and payment is confirmed. We will communicate expected completion dates at the time of order confirmation.

  • Standard turnaround is typically 5–10 working days depending on product and quantity
  • Rush orders may be accommodated at an additional charge — please enquire
  • Nic Of Time Printing is not liable for delays caused by supplier lead times, load shedding or other factors beyond our control

5. Cancellations and changes

  • Orders may not be cancelled once production has begun
  • If cancelled before production, the deposit is non-refundable to cover design, sourcing and admin costs
  • Changes to an approved order may result in additional charges and delays

6. Quality and returns

We take pride in the quality of our work. If you believe there is a production error or defect, please contact us within 5 business days of receiving your order.

  • Claims must include photos of the issue for assessment
  • We will not be responsible for errors in client-supplied artwork that were approved before production
  • Minor colour variation between screen and print is normal and not considered a defect
  • Returns and reprints will be assessed on a case-by-case basis

7. Collection and delivery

  • Orders can be collected from our premises in KwaZulu-Natal
  • Delivery can be arranged at the client's cost — we will confirm courier options on request
  • Risk passes to the client once goods are handed to a courier

8. Limitation of liability

Nic Of Time Printing's liability is limited to the value of the order placed. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including but not limited to loss of income, missed events or business interruption.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be resolved in the jurisdiction of KwaZulu-Natal.
